On the penultimate day of your cruise, before arriving in Port Everglades you will be given a colored ticket showing your allocated meeting point on the ship, and your disembarkation time. There are plenty of seats to accommodate cruisers, so you can sit and relax with your hand luggage, if necessary, prior to boarding. The terminal has free Wi-Fi and vending machines for snacks and drinks. Once you have handed over your baggage, you can join the line to board the ship.
Port Everglades does not currently offer pre-payment or parking reservations. Onsite payment may be made with cash, debit cards and credit cards. If you drive in, expect to pay between $15 and $19 per day to park your car.

While it will be crowded, you’ll find easy directions and friendly customer service here. Port Everglades offers secure, well-lit parking in two garages and three gated surface lots with patrols. You can park your car within walking distance of nearly all the terminals. Cruise terminals 2 and 4 share the 2,500-space Northport Garage, though a new 1,888-space parking garage is under construction to serve both terminals. Terminals 18 and 19 each have their own surface lots named after them; the Terminal 19 Parking Lot is shared between the two. Four terminals -- cruise terminals 19, 21, 25 and share the 2,000-space Midport Garage, but only cruise terminal 29 has a complimentary shuttle service between the parking spots and terminal.

One of the benefits of sailing from South Florida is that you have two major airports to fly into for your cruise — Fort Lauderdale and Miami. This way, if Miami has a better schedule or is cheaper, you can fly there and then head to Port Everglades. We’d recommend having some patience as it can take minutes before your car arrives.
